Steed is a Classabindi from the next universe. After he escaped the big bang that destroyed his universe, he time traveled back past the creation of his universe, the end of this universe, and landed in the early 21st century.
According to the physical laws of this universe he was able to become a Great One and used his power to create the Classabindi Empire which lasted only for several hours. The remnants decided to reform themselves into five straightened Classabindi Nursery Fleets that spread to five different galaxies to take care of their childrens.
Steed, on the other hand, has retreated to a copy of Castrovalva where he can create and repair articles on something called the Tardis Index Files which humans are currently working on.
(In reality, I am 16 years old, live in the United States, and am a big fan of Doctor Who. I am trying not to find out things about Series 4 before I watch the episodes, but I am failing.
Having watched Series 4 I think it was great. I hope Davros is not dead. Like Davies said, he has a history of using escape pods. Like most people, I do hope the Rani returns and I can't wait till 2010.)
