Gebek was a Peladonian trisilicate miner, and the only one who favoured negotiations with Queen Thalira instead of armed rebellion. He joined forces with Ortron when the Ice Warriors led by Azaxyr took over, and aided the Third Doctor in exposing their plans. Afterwards, Thalira appointed him the new Chancellor of Peladon.
