Well, this has certainly been a most entertaining evening.
Reverend Arnold Golightly was the vicar of a small English village until his death in 1926. Born in 1886, he was given up to a church-run orphanage not long after his birth, where he was raised. As an adult, he found a post as the vicar of a sleepy English village near Eddison Manor. Some time after his fortieth birthday, in 1926, his church suffered a break in--during which he discovered that he was not human... or, at least, not only human.
He was, in fact, half-Human and half-Vespiform, the illegitimate son of Lady Clemency Eddison and a Vespiform calling itself Christopher. He is killed in his Vespiform form by Donna Noble, who tosses the Firestone into a lake causing him to fly into it and drown. She did this to save Agatha Christie who still nearly dies due to the connection between them, but for some reason, as his last act, he chooses to save Agatha rather than let her perish with him (DW: The Unicorn and the Wasp).
