Commander Kaagh, also known as Kaagh the Slayer and soon to be Kaagh the Avenger as well as Kaagh the Destroyer, was a soldier of the Sontaran Empire that was attached to the Tenth Sontaran Battle Fleet's Special Assault Squad. His job was to infiltrate deep behind enemy lines in order to predict and anticipate their movements.

Biography

This Sontaran was part of the Earth Invasion Force which attempted to turn the planet Earth into a Cloneworld through the use of the ATMOS devices. However, the fleet was destroyed due to the intervention of the Time Lord known as The Doctor. Kaagh was onboard a Sontaran Scout Ship at the time of the mothership's destruction. This act sent his ship flying off course and crashing onto Earth.

Despite the damage to his ship and the G-forces that might have killed him, Kaagh survived but was wounded in the act resulting in a deep scar on his face. After crashing onto the planet, he began to use his training as a member of the Special Assault Squad to begin a covert attempt at the planet's destruction. To this end, he used a neural control implant on Professor Skinner who was in charge of a radio telescope in order to use it to bring down Earth's orbital satellites in a coordinated attack on the planet's nuclear power plants. The act would have left the world a radioactive cinder in space. Kaagh hoped that by doing this he could make up for his fleets failure to conquer Earth. His plan was discovered by Sarah Jane Smith and on several occasions Kaagh attempted to kill her and her young friends whom he considered as 'half-forms'. However before his plan could come to effect Kaagh was knocked unconcious by Chrissie Jackson and forced to return home to Sontar in his scout-ship. However Sarah Jane suspected that he would one day return.

Equipment

Kaagh had access to an even higher level of technology than the likes of Commander Skorr. He had a smaller more compact blaster weapon, a different type of communicator, an automatic helmet that could retract into his armour and a personal cloaking field. He also employed the use of neural implants as opposed to the more common hypnosis methods sontarans tend to use. Kaagh sent out sontaran drones that resembled large plasmic spheres to act as scouts.
