Citation Needed on Born/Death Year
Where the {{fact}} template is in the intro paragraph for the born/death dates, in this case is Wikipedia a valid source, since this article is showing the real-world born/death years, or does the citation need to be a DWU source? I'm new here, and I read through parts of the Manual of Style, especially T:CITE, and still am unsure. --ToaMeiko ☎ 05:22, August 26, 2013 (UTC)
- We can only use sources from the DWU for in-universe pages. Wikipedia is not considered a valid source for this wiki. You can read more at Tardis:Valid sources and Tardis:Valid sources/Detailed list. Shambala108 ☎ 05:25, August 26, 2013 (UTC)
- Ah, that's what I figured. Thanks for the info. --ToaMeiko ☎ 05:26, August 26, 2013 (UTC)
- No problem. The manual of style is so big, sometimes it's faster just to ask someone. Any time you have a question, feel free to leave a message on my talk page. Shambala108 ☎ 05:48, August 26, 2013 (UTC)
