This was an ungulate (hooved mammal), not unlike an Earth Camel, but from outer space. One landed in cloaked space pod in the Sahara Desert. As part of the space pods defences the outside environment could be animated and controlled. The the sand was turned into a fearsome sandstorm to frighten the local Bedoiun tribes who believed the sandstorm to be the mythical spirit Djinn. When the creature's cloaking device failed to conceal its presence the Doctor stops the planned invasion and sends the space pod on a one-way journey back home. (COMIC: Sandblasted).
