Believe it or not, my love for Doctor Who began on Wikia. A then friend of mine named Jason made numerous references to the show in our old chat, and for a very long time I never got any of them and didn't know what he was talking about. Muultiple mentions of cactuses/cacti, bowties and (fezzes) mixed with 'EXTERMINATE!' repeated countless times daily struck no chord. So I looked into the series; finding out what it was about and eventually beginning to watch it on Netflix.
I was instantly hooked.
