Helicon Prime was the sixth release in the Companion Chronicles audio range. It was the second story of season 2. It was written by Jake Elliot and featured Jamie McCrimmon.

Continuity
- For Jamie recounting the story, Helicon Prime occurs after he was returned to his native era by the Time Lords in TV: The War Games.
- The Doctor tells Jamie that Victoria Waterfield is away studying graphology. (TV: The Two Doctors) However, this was actually a false memory created for Jamie by the Time Lords. (PROSE: World Game)
- When Jamie is annoyed at the Doctor not leaving Helicon Prime, he says that shouldn't they be battling the Daleks (TV: The Evil of the Daleks, AUDIO: Fear of the Daleks) and chasing Robot Yeti (TV: The Abominable Snowmen, The Web of Fear).
