images/my rory night terrors image[[edit]]

The reason why I cropped the image was because another of my images got taken off because the network logo was visible.

I also didn't think the current picture of Rory was suitable as it was a png file rather than a jpg as wiki prefers jpg file types.

I don't know how to do use talk pages to be trufely honest so I have not yet told anybody that you're a nice guy really like you told me to.

Edit warring[[edit]]

Please note that you have doubled the limit for reverting edits; eight times within 36 hours. Therefore, this should result in double the normal block, which is 6 days. Do you have anything to say?--Skittles the hog - talk 09:00, September 4, 2011 (UTC)

Well, no. Policy is not debatable. I think I'm being relatively lightweight; looking through your new archive, you've had several complaints logged against you that went unpunished, yet here we are again.
Seriously, keep to the policies, or this will become a regular occurrence. I'm trying to be fair handed here, so I will say this, you are a good editor, but you have to stick to policy, just like everyone else. I also have to stick to policy, which dictates that you should be blocked. To quote from your own messages: "No second chances, I'm that sort of a man."--Skittles the hog - talk 09:17, September 4, 2011 (UTC)
p.s You can edit your own talk page while blocked.

Okay, I'm sorry, Skittles. I need a second chance. I will give you a second chance on Doctor Who Answers if you give me asecond chance here. Please. Can you just make it 2-3 hours? BroadcastCorp (talk | contribs) 09:20, September 4, 2011 (UTC)

I will consult with headquarters. Check back here later today.--Skittles the hog - talk 09:26, September 4, 2011 (UTC)

Please can I edit here again. I can't take this. I will change your block on Doctor Who Answers to 6 days. If you unblock me I will remove this block on DWA. But please, it's a thing I do here, I just have to edit, it's a habit. BroadcastCorp (talk | contribs) 10:54, September 4, 2011 (UTC)

Just unblock me and we can talk. I will unblock you DWA. We just need a little chat about things. I want to know why you are doing all this stuff at DWA. And you want to know why I have "doubled the limit of reverting edits". I didn't even know this. Just unblock me. Please. BroadcastCorp (talk | contribs) 12:49, September 4, 2011 (UTC)

After careful consideration, I have decided to block you for a month. This means you will remain blocked until the day after the series 6 finale. In my opinion, this punishment is justified by the sheer number of times you have defied policy (personal attacks, edit warring etc.). I'm not sure why you're trying to bribe me with access to Doctor Who Answers, it's a terrible site and an embarrassing one to have associated with this wiki.--Skittles the hog - talk 15:03, September 4, 2011 (UTC)

You are infinitely banned[[edit]]

You have now been banned forever. Wikia Central were asked to run a test on this account versus user:DomeSeven and it was determined that the two accounts had the same origin. In other words, you created a sock puppet to try to get around the banning of this account. This behavior is generally greeted with infinite blocks on other wiki. Great care was taken to ensure that this action was not taken rashly. Advice was specifically sought at the admin forum, and guidelines at various large Wikia wikis were also consulted. Infinite blocking is considered reasonable.

Do not attempt to come back to this wiki again. I hate saying it, because you did make some awesome contributions. However, you are no longer welcome. Sock puppetry is simply unacceptable on any wiki.

If it makes you feel any better, you may not ever have become an admin here, as was your wish, but you did make history. You are the first person to ever receive a lifetime ban for sock puppetry on this wiki. I hope you will be the last.

To any other users reading this message, please do not take away from this incident any thought that the admin staff are gleeful about blocking people. This decision has come after days of patient consideration, in the context of discussions happening both here and across the wikia domain.

Farewell, BroadcastCorp. Your transmission day is now over. Permanently.

Christmas cheer[[edit]]

Happy holidays!

As this fiftieth anniversary year comes to a close, we here at Tardis just want to thank you for being a part of our community — even if you haven't edited here in a while. If you have edited with us this year, then thanks for all your hard work.

This year has seen an impressive amount of growth. We've added about 11,000 pages this year, which is frankly incredible for a wiki this big. November was predictably one of the busiest months we've ever had: over 500 unique editors pitched in. It was the highest number of editors in wiki history for a year in which only one programme in the DWU was active. And our viewing stats have been through the roof. We've averaged well over 2 million page views each week for the last two months, with some weeks seeing over 4 million views!

We've received an unprecedented level of support from Wikia Staff, resulting in all sorts of new goodies and productive new relationships. And we've recently decided to lift almost every block we've ever made so as to allow most everyone a second chance to be part of our community.

2014 promises to build on this year's foundations, especially since we've got a full, unbroken series coming up — something that hasn't happened since 2011. We hope you'll stick with us — or return to the Tardis — so that you can be a part of the fun!
