The Dalek Scientific Division was a high-ranking group in the Dalek hierarchy. Their needs overrode all other orders and concerns in at least two mission. (AUDIO: The Genocide Machine, Return of the Daleks) a Chief Scientist was Leader of the Scientific Division. Science Daleks were claimed to be silver.
