Doctor Who Production staff have stated that meeting Christina will lead to a "shocking event" in The Doctor's life. corresponding to filming it appears that Christina is some kind of theif as there have been set reports of her stealing something from a museum. After this it has been stated by Doctor who production that she and the doctor will take a bus trip into danger and end up on an alien dessert planet.
