Judoonese

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference
Revision as of 08:53, 17 April 2015 by Stryzzar (talk | contribs)

The Judoon language was composed of many one-syllable words ending in a vowel, generally an "o" sound (such as "blo mo co jo") but occasionally an "a". (TV: Smith and Jones, PROSE: Judgement of the Judoon) Each sentence was composed of several of these words strung together. The Tenth Doctor could speak the language of the Judoon, and did so when he arrived at the Shadow Proclamation. (TV: Smith and Jones, The Stolen Earth) The TARDIS's translation circuit doesn't appear to be capable of processing the language.
