Squire portrayed the lead Auton in the Doctor Who television story Spearhead from Space, (DOC: Down to Earth, REF: The Life and Times of A Doctor Who Dummy: My Part In His Second Regeneration) for which he also appeared as a UNIT driver,[source needed] as well as the BBC3 camera man in the Doctor Who television story The Dæmons,[source needed] a Starliner dweller in the Doctor Who television story Full Circle[source needed] and a Pharos Project boffin in the Doctor Who television story Logopolis.[source needed] He also served an uncredited role as assistant script editor on Spearhead from Space. (DOC: Down to Earth) In 2014, Squire released an autobiography about his time as an Auton called The Life and Times of A Doctor Who Dummy: My Part In His Second Regeneration.
