Professor Mirko Vetich was a 20th century Earth scientist.
He created an ionic vibrator whilst researching inter-stellar audio signals. Due to an accident, his machine allowed Mrs Prentice to hear Zex from the fourth paraleptic level of the galaxy. After the Master helped Zex possess her, Vetich and the Third Doctor built an astro modulator to disrupt Zex's control and free Prentice. (PROSE: Listen - The Stars)
