Psilocybe mexicana also known to the Aztecs as teonanacatl; 'the flesh of the gods'. They contained 4-Phosphoryloxy-NN-dimethyltryptamine. They were a small mushroom that was fawn coloured with a long thin stem that were easily available in Tenochtitlan in 1487. The Doctor consumed the mushrooms in an attempt to see the Blue.
