Andy Frankham-Allen

Andy Frankham-Allen wrote the short stories The Dead Man's Story, Sedna and The Misadventure of Mark Thorne for the Short Trips series. He also wrote the reference book Companions: Fifty Years of Doctor Who Assistants. He is the range editor of the Candy Jar Books Lethbridge-Stewart series of novels and wrote the first and third novels in the series, The Forgotten Son and Beast of Fang Rock. He also wrote The Ambush!, a Lethbridge-Stewart short story set during the television story The Web of Fear that appeared in DWM 483.

He started off writing as Andrew Frankham with The Dead Man's Story, and continued as Andy Frankham with his following two Short Trips stories. He changed his writing name to Andy Frankham-Allen when The Dead Man's Story was reprinted in the Short Trips: Re:Collections book, and has continued with that name ever since.
