Notes
- Although they are never mentioned by name, the aliens that appear on this novel are (or are similar to) the Tzun.
- It is implied that Sarah Jane Smith may have died at the end of this novel. It was eventually revealed that the possibility of her death during these events had been caused by the Council of Eight altering history. Eventually, the Eighth Doctor defeated the Council and the existence of the multiverse was restored to reality, meaning that Sarah's fate differs from universe to universe. (PROSE: Sometime Never...) Later appearances by her suggest that, in the main timeline, she survived. (TV: School Reunion)
- This is the only BBC Past Doctor Adventures novel to feature the Seventh Doctor but not Ace.
Continuity
