Osbert (Castle of Fear) appeared in 1899 as a memetic conflict.^{[statement unclear]} This led to the Fifth Doctor and Nyssa.^{[statement unclear]} In 1199, he saw the demons and helped Nyssa from a boar trap. He was in fact a Rutan who had duplicated the original Osbert. (AUDIO: Castle of Fear)
