Dudley Foster (7 August 1924-8 January 1973) played Maurice Caven in the Doctor Who story The Space Pirates.
His other television appearances included roles on The Avengers, Danger Man, Coronation Street, The Plane Makers, Taxi!, The Saint, No Hiding Place, Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased), Jason King, Steptoe and Son, The Persuaders! and Public Eye. However, Foster is best known for playing Detective Inspector Dunn on Z-Cars.
