Cathy Salt was a journalist working as the science corespondent for the Cardiff Gazette, she was researching on the internet at the dynamics of the new nuclear power station and found Mr Cleaver's page and she found out it was not safe, that it would explode the whole of Cardiff. So she went to the convention of the power plant and interviewed Margaret Blaine. She mentioned the curse of the power plant like the death of the French health inspectors, the whole Cardiff Blinson Committee and Mr. Cleaver. Margaret Blaine said it was all accidents, and then she took Cathy aside to have a private interview, but Margaret had to 'use the loo' and went into the cubicle. Lord Mayor Blaine unmasked, and turned out to be a Slitheen. She planned to kill Cathy, but when Cathy spoke about her family Blon told her to go. (DW: Boom Town)
