Chris Waites and the Carrollers were a band in the early 1960s. They recorded "Christmas Caroline". (PROSE: Time and Relative)

As Ian Chesterton later noted in November 1963, Chris Waites and the Carrollers was the start of the career of Aubrey Waites, who would go on to lead in John Smith and the Common Men, a popular band that would be beaten in the top charts only by the Beatles. (TV: "An Unearthly Child")
