Nic Reece was a Federation representative. His family was killed in a shuttle crash, which was arranged to lure him away from Peladon. Once offworld, Reece was murdered and replaced by an imposter, who was trying to obtain the Diadem. He murdered Lady Lianna as part of his plan. Tarrol faced "Reece" with the Sword of Truth and killed the imposter. (PROSE: Legacy)
