Jessica Raine played Emma Grayling in the Doctor Who television story Hide. She later portrayed original Doctor Who producer Verity Lambert in the 2013 docu-drama, An Adventure in Space and Time.
She is perhaps best known for her role in the BBC drama Call the Midwife, alongside Jenny Agutter and Pam Ferris.
