Night of the Intelligence
I came across the statement that Time of the Intelligence is in a separate continuity from the rest of the Lethbridge-Stewart series. I really don't know anything about the story. Is that story set in a parallel universe to the N-Space (the infobox there indicates otherwise though)? Amorkuz ☎ 19:53, January 2, 2018 (UTC)
- I've not listened to the story myself, but here's a review that might clear it up a bit:
- I was particularly interested in Frankham-Allen's Time of the Intelligence of course, and the appearance of Prof Travers - a prominent figure in the Candy Jar Lethbridge-Stewart books, with which Frankham-Allen is much involved. It was intriguing to see both the overlaps (the hints at Anne's work, the character of Reece Goff, the mention of Fugglestone etc) and divergences (the timescale, Travers' appointment to the Vault) from that series. Overall, it is clear that these are separate timelines - even invoking the UNIT dating protocols can't fix that.
- Based on that, it sounds like there's nothing in Time of the Intelligence by itself that establishes it as an alternate universe, but the intentional contradictions with the Lethbridge-Stewart series are too much to handwave away. – N8 ☎ 20:06, January 2, 2018 (UTC)
