Deletion[[edit source]]

Shouldn't Case File be the page that is deleted. This is surely the best name for the article (it is less ambiguous and in the plural) and at the moment this is the better article of the two. --Borisashton 15:27, October 17, 2018 (UTC)

I'm fine with that. I'm just confused as to why this article was created when there was already one on the topic. I'll move the deletion template to the other one. Elib876 15:42, October 17, 2018 (UTC)
Nothing confusing about it. Obviously someone didn't know the other article existed. Happens all the time. Shambala108 16:05, October 17, 2018 (UTC)
Actually, according to the onscreen title card — and marketing around it in both the US and the UK — the name of the series is singular. So that's what it needs to be here.
The tricky bit is the fact that BBCA call it "Yaz's Case File" while the BBC call it "Case File". I've moved it to "Case File" because the BBC's instance is globally available and BBCA's is geolocked. But there is a redirect at Yaz's Case File. So people can find it either way.
While I agree that "case file" in is sorta ambiguous in everyday life, it doesn't appear to be in Doctor Who. The only other thing that comes up when you put the word "case" into search is Case of the Missing Absence. So, on this wiki at least, the term is surprisingly unique.
