The Ninth Doctor possessed a sonic screwdriver. After regenerating many times in quick succession, the Thirteenth Doctor equipped the screwdriver and activated it, before Emma told her to stop it. The Doctor was surprised it had three settings. (TV: The Curse of Fatal Death)
