On 1 January 2019, he and Lin discovered the remains of the Third Custodian. He later helped the Thirteenth Doctor, Yaz, and Ryan save Lin after she was controlled by a Dalek. After the crisis was over, he began a relationship with Lin.(TV: Resolution)
