Padra Toc Shafe Cane was a refugee from Red Force Five.
The Tenth Doctor, Martha Jones and Jack Harkness met and helped Padra escape from a pack of Futurekind on Malcassairo and find his family at Silo 16, the last bastion of civilised humanity.
At Silo 16, they were greeted by a guard named Lieutenant Atillo and led inside the complex by a young boy named Creet. Padra was overjoyed when Creet found his mother, Kistane Shafe Cane, and brother, Beltone Shafe Cane.
Padra left with all the passengers on board a large rocket ship and went to Utopia. (TV: Utopia) Upon reaching Utopia, however, they found it was a cold and inhospitable world. They regressed into the Toclafane. (TV: Last of the Time Lords)
