The Plague of Questions was a phenomenon instigated by the presence of the Eighth Doctor, Fitz Kreiner, and Anji Kapoor on the Crooked World. The Doctor and friends caused the inhabitants of the Crooked World to question nearly every aspect of their existence, freeing them from the patterns they had been living in and giving them free will.

The term "Plague of Questions" was used by Crooked Worlders who were opposed to these changes to their world and wished it to remain simplistic.

During the Plague, the Crooked World Electric Company were unable to keep up with the demand for light bulbs to accompany every new idea.

The Skeleton Crew investigated the Plague and were unable to find any fake ghosts. (PROSE: The Crooked World)
