Erin Lewis joined the Church of the Outsiders some time before Ianto Jones. Her father did not "get" her interest in aliens or her involvement in the Church. She was hopeful that alien races would be kinder and better than humans. She gave Ianto a tour of the commune after he joined and was assigned as his co-pilot, detecting before his consultation that he had spent a lot of time around aliens but assumed that they were hiders. She was greatly upset when the Church fell apart thanks to Jack Harkness and expressed her anger with Ianto. She had no intention of leaving the Church and believed that "the true believers" would rebuild. She remarked that it was all she had. (AUDIO: Believe)
