An Arachmed (known to Blind Summit as a Medibot) was a medical robot. One was gifted from Verocha 7 to Torchwood One, along with a charger. However, Moira spilt cherryade on it, causing Tommy Pierce to limit the amount that the Arachmed was used in order to conserve battery.
Matthew used Torchwood's to heal Ianto Jones after he was shot by a robot soldier. Blind Summit also had one, which they used to administer Excellium to volunteers. (AUDIO: Blind Summit)
