Apple-grass is a type of plant found on New Earth. Though it looks the same as normal grass, it has a distinct apple smell. These similarities to Earth plants is probably what affected the choice of planet for the nostalgic Humans. (DW: New Earth) The smell of apple grass was one reason many citizens of the undercity left for the surface on The Motorway, including Cheen.
