Jack Halliday was a private investigator in New York 1938. He was killed by Ellis when he confronted them when Ellis and Mouse are waiting for their client to sell the radiation pulse gun. His corpse was later found by the Eighth Doctor and Charley Pollard and impersonated by the Doctor. (AUDIO: Invaders from Mars)
