Why would we merge them? Lake Monster is for the species, while this page is for the specific individual of the species who appears in The Daleks. --Scrooge MacDuck ☎ 10:21, June 23, 2020 (UTC)

I see - it wasn't clear from the pages that that's what the split was (at least not to me anyway)
