Paralyser gun

Paralyser guns were hand-held energy weapons used by Kleptons guards in their underwater city. The First Doctor, John and Gillian helped Thain slaves obtain paralyser guns, which they used in a fight against Klepton guards, during which a giant machine containing creepers was damaged.
