Rename[[edit source]]

Hey Shambala108, thanks for the clean-up. What do you propose to rename it, and for that matter, is there anything else you would like me to change/ add regarding this page? In my viewing of Nemesis last night, they never refer to it as anything but a bow and arrow. The name "of Nemesis" just seemed appropriate because they were still special weapons in their own right that I think deserved their own page.

Also, since Lady Peinforte and De Flores are the objects of the sentence "The Doctor manipulates..." they both are "whom", not who, no? (Pun not intended haha!)

Thanks, DoctorQuoi 03:17, July 19, 2020 (UTC)DoctorQuoi

Hey Shambala108, I moved it to a page where "arrow" isn't capitalized. I think it's convenient to have just one article about the two instruments rather than separate articles but if you feel differently please let me know and I'll delete this page and make two new ones for both.

Also would like to know your thoughts on "who" vs. "whom" for this context! DoctorQuoi 03:24, July 19, 2020 (UTC)DoctorQuoi

Please note that only admin are permitted to move or rename pages on this wiki. I know nothing about this case, so I can't comment just now on what name would be appropriate.

Oh I see, sorry about that SOTO. Does the page need to be deleted and re-made or can we keep it? DoctorQuoi 03:44, July 19, 2020 (UTC)DoctorQuoi
I moved the page back to where it was before the move from a non-admin. Sentence case would appear to be correct here (though I haven't read the novelisation), but this seems to be the sort of rename that will require discussion.

Thanks SOTO. I haven't read the novelization of Silver Nemesis nor do I have access to it so someone would have to look into whether arrow should be capitalized in the title or not. The way it sounded in the story made it sound like a proper noun, but again, I'm not sure. DoctorQuoi 03:58, July 19, 2020 (UTC)DoctorQuoi

<edit conflict>

The sentence "The Doctor manipulates someone" is subject/verb/DO. The clauses "Who possessed something" are subject/verb/DO. These clauses act as mini-sentences and are independent of the rest of the DOs in the sentence. The ones doing the possessing are the subjects of the clauses; the things they are possessing are the DOs. Shambala108 03:59, July 19, 2020 (UTC)

Yes you are entirely correct, thank you for the clarification. Years of programming and equation-writing have left me with an inability to be grammatically correct anymore it seems haha! DoctorQuoi 04:04, July 19, 2020 (UTC)DoctorQuoi
Years of editing a British-spelling wiki have left me with an inability to spell anything correctly in American English! Shambala108 04:12, July 19, 2020 (UTC)
