Giant maggot

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference
Revision as of 17:14, 3 September 2020 by CzechBot (talk | contribs) (Bot: Cosmetic changes)

The giant maggots were mutated versions of normal maggots.

Biology

The giant maggots were similar to regular maggots except for their immense size, sharp fangs and thick skin which made them invulnerable to bullets, armour piercing bullets, and high explosive grenades. Pesticides strengthened them. They would eventually develop into giant flies. (TV: The Green Death)

History

The giant maggots were created by the chemicals dumped by BOSS' Global Chemicals. They killed anyone who came near them, due to their aggressive nature and the deadly chemicals. It was eventually discovered by Professor Cliff Jones that his edible fungus was poisonous to the maggots and it was used to wipe out the entire species. (TV: The Green Death)

Gary Talbot once found a giant maggot in his toilet. (HOMEVID: Global Conspiracy?) Similarly Kate Stewart found one in Douglas Cavendish's shed. (HOMEVID: Dæmos Rising)

In 1990, a giant maggot was discovered when a coal mine was converted into a tourist attraction. It was taken to the Leamington Spa Lifeboat Museum. (GAME: Security Bot)

By 2019 a company called Llanfairfach Pharmaceuticals made a brand of suntan lotion, which not only contained green maggots, but also had some strange mind-altering properties. (PROSE: The Llanfairfach Rebellion)
