In 1998, a writer working for Stan Demile Productions Ltd discussed with a colleague how best to proceed with the third Dr Who movie they were producing which was at the script stage. He suggested writing out the TARDIS and making the Doctor a surgeon in a Birmingham hospital, an idea which his friend agreed with. (NOTVALID: The Next 20 Years)
