P. Oxy. 1787

P. Oxy. 1787 was a papyrus document on which was discovered the following lines of poetry, by Sappho.

... and this ... (destructive) spirit,
Of barbarian legend,
Truly did not love,
... destroyed on account of order,
His master the cause neither.
... nothing much...
... an iron boxed spirit.
