Talk:The Trickster

Discussion page

Is "rani" referenced in this article, "the rani"?

In reference to Doug86's deletion of a comment on the article side of this page from IP user 81.158.1.189 he said that "fan speculation does not belong on this wiki". Don't we regularly see fan speculation in the rumor sections of upcoming episodes? And wouldn't it be better to move speculation to the discussion page than delete the content and squash what could be an interesting debate from occurring? --Raukodraug 01:55, 19 April 2009 (UTC)

Does anyone else believe that The Trickster could be a warped Time Lord, disfigured after the Last Great Time War? Just a theory? --User:Dante91 00.12, 21 September 2009 (UTC)

There is not enough proof to determine if the Trickster is a Time Lord, and besides, the recent information the Doctor gave us indicates he was a member of the Pantheon of Discord. --Chicken Bond 20:44, January 27, 2010 (UTC)

does anyone think that the trickster is similar to the cracks in time from series 5 of doctor who because they can both erase things from time and the doctor says about there being a trickster in the pandorica opens - Ashdude01 21:48 19 June 2010

The trickster is possibly one of the eternals as he says :Effemeral minds are so limited. Note that the eternals referred to non-eternals as Effemerals in Enlightenment.Invictus152 08:33, July 7, 2010 (UTC)

So much speculation afoot!

When the Doctor said "an eternal exile", he was not saying that the Trickster was an Eternal, just someone who is exiled eternally.Zythe 02:48, August 4, 2010 (UTC)

While there seems to have been a bit of debate five years ago whether or not we allow speculation on talk pages, at this point we do not allow speculation or theories on any talk or forum pages. See Tardis:Discussion policy for details. Shambala108 20:27, October 15, 2015 (UTC)

Love and War reference

Is it confirmed that the individual featured in the Love and War novel is the same as that featured in Turn Left and SJA? If that's the case, shouldn't Paul Cornell receive screen credit for creating him? It is possible for there to be more than one character with the same name across the Whoniverse. 23skidoo 20:28, November 18, 2020 (UTC)
