In the pit the Tenth Doctor remarked that the Kaled God of War was depicted as a "horned beast". He attributed this description to the image of the Beast being beamed into the subconscious of every sentient mind, even the Kaleds. (TV: The Satan Pit) The Klade also worshipped a God of War. (PROSE: Father Time)
Behind the scenes
- The Klade, mentioned in Father Time to have worshipped a God of War, were implied to be the ultimate descendants of the Daleks, themselves descendants of the Kaleds. Thus, the mention in The Satan Pit of the Kaleds as having a God of War could be interpreted as a further clue towards the implication regarding the Klade's ancestry.
