{{MusicBrainz}} lets you put a link to the MusicBrainz entry of an audio release. MusicBrainz is an open music encyclopedia that collects music metadata and makes it available to the public. Adding links between the sites help both users and computers find more relevant information about the audios.
Usage[[edit source]]
The template works like this:
{{MusicBrainz|type and UUID of the entry}}
So, let's imagine you were trying to use this template at the page, Oh No It Isn't! (audio story). Follow this procedure:
- Go to the MusicBrainz release group page (not release page, because it's unlikely this Wiki contains entries about a release in a specific format such as CD or digital) for "Oh No It Isn't!", found at https://musicbrainz.org/release-group/619aea4d-4954-4cea-acd5-1df5887d283e
- Cut the bit of URL after "https://musicbrainz.org/"
- Go to the "External links" section of the page here at tardis.wikia.com
- Edit the "External links" section
- Type the following:
{{MusicBrainz|release-group/619aea4d-4954-4cea-acd5-1df5887d283e}}
- Hit the publish button
The result will look like this:
