Leapfrog was a project undertaken at the University of Cambridge in the late 2210s or early 2220s, the aim of which was to create a functioning transmat through the use of particle recombination technology.

Lila Kreeg led Leapfrog. The experiments resulted in the death of a student volunteer, who was turned inside out. Lila was then kicked out of Cambridge and faced legal action before Magnus Drake saved her and gave her a job at Drake Interplanetary. Because of Leapfrog, particle recombination technology was banned in the United Kingdom, although Lila remained in possession of the files. (AUDIO: Faustian)
