Elissa was the princess of Tyre. Her late husband was the high priest and her brother was the king. She got a prophecy of doom and disaster. She was attacked by a bandit when going to visit her husband's grave. She stole her brother's new ship. She became enamoured by Ian Chesterton. She piloted the ships to found the city of Carthage.
