Steve O'Brien is an SFX and Doctor Who Magazine writer who appeared on the documentaries Getting Blood from the Stones , Putting The Shock Into Earthshock , The Secret of the Labyrinth and When Worlds Collide (on the Happiness Patrol DVD). He has contributed to the charity reference book Behind the Sofa: Celebrity Memories of Doctor Who and also co-wrote BBC Books' Whographica alongside Simon Guerrier.
He edited the fanzines Peladon and Purple Haze.
He has written about Big Finish for The Guardian.
