Do you think the Doctor knows what's causing the cracks in time, or maybe he is the cause? Because he definitely knows something is wrong, but he keeps ignoring it. For instance when Amy asked him why the crack was there in the eleventh hour he wouldn't answer, the fact that it was important for him to know how much time had elapsed since he first met Amy is also suspicious, and then he saw the crack on the TARDIS television screen and ignored it. And then when The Doctor mentioned the war in the medusa cascade, and she didnt know about it, he didn't show that much concern either, mind you at the end of the episode he did say to Amy something about what she's forgotten. And something the Ood said in the end of time reminds me of this aswell - time is splitting/splintering and thats why they had evolved so much. It couldn't have had actually had to do with the end of time because (after the doctor had stopped this) Ood Sigma could still appear on earth in 2005 when the Doctor was dying. Any ideas? - I'm thinking that the events of The Waters of Mars and The End of Time (TV story) is what "cracked" the universe. The Doctor changed history, and then the universe was nearly destroyed, then the Doctor tried to cheat his own regeneration. Now he's dealing with the consequences.
