Apperances

I'm still new to this wiki, so I figured I'd ask here rather than make the change myself. If Victory of the Daleks counts as an appearance of the Nazis, should Empty Child/Doctor Dances be included as well? TweedJacket 19:29, April 18, 2010 (UTC)

That's a really good question. Personally, I'd count The Empty Child as a full-on appearance, because we literally see German aircraft. Others might disagree with me, since they're a "background" menace. In Victory it's more implied; I don't think we actually see anything German at all in the episode. But appearance lists usually allow for "mentions", as with Dalek. 03:16, April 19, 2010 (UTC)

Update, rename tags

This article is in bad need of an update, as it fails to include any meaningful attempt to chronicle Nazi appearances. A list just don't cut it, especially when that list is obviously missing major adventures. For instance, aside from the introductory Colditz, there's no mention of any adventure with Elizabeth Klein, who's actually a Nazi companion of the Seventh Doctor. This is perhaps understandable, as these audios are rather new, but, still, the article needs to be updated, as it fails to mention this fairly major character.

I also think the article should be moved from "Nazism" to "Nazi". The article, as written, doesn't really speak to the "-ism" at all, but rather seems to be about people who were Nazis. I'd move it, but I'm not terribly sure what focus the original editors meant the article to have. I'm sure the word "Nazism" has appeared in DW, so it's not a conjectural title. But it would seem easier to change the name of the article and write about the Doctor and Jack's interaction with particular Nazis, than to chronicle the impact of Nazism on the DWU.
