Safari

According to Roz Forrester, safari was a word that meant to travel in Swahili. Although Bernice Summerfield conceded that point, she added that "its accepted usage means to watch wild animals". Chris Cwej tried to find a middle ground between the two women, offering the thought that maybe one watched the wild animals while travelling. (PROSE: The Also People)

Safari parks were made so people can go on safari to see wild animals. One such was Windsor Safari Park, where Lady Peinforte and Richard Maynarde heard bears and saw llamas as they searched for the Nemesis on 1988. (TV: Silver Nemesis)

Safari jackets were made for safari. People who wore them included the Seventh Doctor, (TV: Time and the Rani-Survival) De Florres, (TV: Silver Nemesis) and Captain Cook. (TV: The Greatest Show in the Galaxy)
