Snark

Snark was a larger than life alien with red skin, long hair, and small yellow tusks and a huge ego. He arrived in New York City, Earth where he established a base and used a psychic transmitter to control and influence the minds of those around him to hold him in awe and reverence. Aided by a personal assistant named Marnie and with no resistance offered, he would have set about stripping and selling off the mineral wealth of the Earth as he had on fourteen other worlds. The Eleventh Doctor and Clara Oswald arrived in time to stop the transmitter with the effect that Snark was not only forgotten, but remained unseen and overlooked. (COMIC: Universally Known)
