Colbourne was the Chief Inspector of the case against the Megwyn Jones. He told a reporter that they had been making searches of The Hope. He wrote about the case. Megwyn thought that he wanted to find the bodies, not for the family but the glory of it. He was attacked by Megwyn which left him without the back of his head. (AUDIO: The Hope)
